Class 11 and 12 Commerce Coaching in Jaipur, with CA Foundation

Commerce is often seen as the "easy" stream, but students who take it lightly find Accountancy and Economics surprisingly demanding in Class 11. For students aiming at CA, the Class 11 and 12 years are also the best time to build the base for the CA Foundation exam.

Commerce subjects and what they need

• Accountancy: regular practice of entries, ledgers and final accounts. It is learnt by doing, not reading.
• Economics: clear concepts, diagrams and numericals in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
• Business Studies: case-based answers that apply concepts to real situations.
• Mathematics or Applied Mathematics: Applied Maths focuses on topics useful in commerce and economics; it is a good choice for students who want Maths without the full PCM syllabus.

CA Foundation alongside the boards

The CA Foundation exam covers accounting, business laws, quantitative aptitude and business economics. Much of this overlaps with Class 11 and 12 Commerce, so students who prepare well for the boards already have a head start. Registration rules and exam dates are set by ICAI; always check the latest details on icai.org.

How we teach Commerce at Potential Tutorial

• 1.5-hour classes for each subject, Monday to Saturday.
• Accountancy taught through daily practice and step-by-step solved examples.
• Regular tests, DPPs and previous years' board questions.
• CA Foundation preparation alongside Class 11 and 12 Commerce.
• Doubt sessions and test marks shared with parents.

Tips for new Commerce students

• Solve Accountancy questions every day, even when there is no test coming.
• Draw every Economics diagram until you can explain it without looking.
• Read business news for ten minutes a day; it makes Business Studies and Economics come alive.
