How to Choose the Right Tuition Classes in Jaipur: A Checklist for Parents

Jaipur has hundreds of coaching centres and tuition classes, and every one of them says it is the best. How do you decide where to send your child? After teaching in Jaipur since 2016, these are the questions we suggest every parent asks, wherever they finally choose.

1. Who will actually teach my child?

Ask for the names, qualifications and experience of the teachers for each subject, and whether the same teacher will teach all year. A famous name on the banner means little if a different teacher takes the class.

2. Will my child get personal attention?

In very big batches, quiet children rarely ask doubts. Ask how doubts are handled, whether there are doubt sessions, and whether the teacher knows each student's weak topics.

3. How often are tests held, and what happens after them?

Regular tests are the only reliable way to find weak topics early. Ask how often tests happen, whether they follow the school or board pattern, and what is done for students who score low.

4. Will I know how my child is doing?

You should not have to wait for the school result to learn about problems. Ask whether test marks are shared with parents and whether you can meet the teachers.

5. What are the real results?

Ask to see actual results with student names and marks, not just a percentage on a poster.

6. Can my child attend a demo class?

A demo class tells you more than any brochure. Watch whether your child understood the lesson and felt comfortable asking questions.

7. Practical points

• Distance and travel time from home and school.
• Class timings that leave time for school homework, rest and play.
• Subjects and classes offered, so that you do not need to change again next year.
